As part of his educational pursuits, he has already secured two key certifications, CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+, with plans to obtain additional credentials leading up to his projected graduation in 2026. His ability to pivot into a highly technical field demonstrates his adaptability and lifelong commitment to learning. Even outside law enforcement, his drive for excellence remains evident as he challenges himself intellectually and professionally.

In his personal life, Darke maintains a balance between professional achievements and personal fulfillment. As an avid scuba diver, he enjoys the thrill and tranquility of exploring underwater landscapes and finding solace in the ocean's depths. Traveling is another passion that allows him to engage with new cultures and broaden his perspectives. Gardening serves as a therapeutic outlet, offering him a sense of relaxation and mindfulness, particularly in managing PTSD. His dedication to helping others extends into his time, as he works with law enforcement officers who struggle with alcohol-related challenges, offering guidance and support to those in need. His strong partnership with his wife is a cornerstone of his life, providing stability and mutual encouragement.
